Run Coach Training Program- Marathon

The Rappahannock Area YMCA offers a variety of training and coaching programs to help you accomplish your biggest running goals.
Every program is thoroughly researched, tested, and proven to get results. Whether that?s a new personal best, more consistency, or fewer injuries. Runners and Walkers welcome. This program is for all fitness levels. Coaching isn’t just for elite athletes. It?s for anyone who wants to improve their running, nutrition, injury prevention and overall fitness level.
This training program will have 3 or 4 runs per week along with 1 or 2 cross-training days and two rest days. The running days will consist of a short/fast run, a medium run, an easy run and a long run. Cross-training can be biking, swimming, aerobics class, or hike, with an emphasis on moving in a different way than running. Each participant gets a specific game plan created by your coach custom for you!
