Clinics
Tennis clinics and lessons are available for all levels of youth and adult players, whether you are looking to pick up a new hobby or have been playing the game for a while. Learn the basics in beginner tennis and then perfect your form in our more advanced classes.
Drop-In and Skills Classes
Our drop-in and skills classes are a great way to make new friends, improve your game, and get a great workout on the courts. We offer a variety of adult tennis programs, including Cardio Tennis, H.I.T.S. Clinics for both beginner and advanced players, Tuesday and Thursday Drills, T.R.X. Tennis, Senior Tennis, and regular Tennis Socials. Whether you are looking for a high-energy fitness class, competitive drills, skill development, or a fun social experience, there is something for every level of player. While these classes are designed as drop-in opportunities, space is limited, and pre-registration is recommended. Members may sign up at any time, and nonmembers may register the day before. Contact the Rowe Tennis Center for more information.

Youth Tennis
What’s Changing?
We have completely restructured the curriculum into specialized phases to ensure every child gets the exact training they need. Description of all classes will be on our website.
Also to guarantee a premium learning experience, we are significantly lowering our student-to-coach ratios across all classes. This change ensures your child receives more individual attention, personalized technical feedback, and active hitting time during every session. Fewer players per court means faster skill progression and a much safer, more engaging training environment.
Why the Shift?
Modern junior development is moving away from purely repetitive ball-feeding and focusing on real-world athletic translation. By emphasizing both physical conditioning and mental resilience, we help players avoid injury and enjoy the game more. This means less frustration, more flow, and a clearer path for those looking to play at a competitive level.
Next Steps and Registration
Full details of the updated programs, practice schedules, and pricing are available on our website. When registering, please choose the correct class based on the date. Unfortunately, it doesn’t state the day of the week. If you need help registering or you’re looking to schedule the evaluation, please email us at ayu@family-ymca.org.
