Have you been working out and eating well, but the number on the scale just won’t budge? Does that leave you feeling disappointed and discouraged? If so, we’ve got the answer for you: Evolt 360 body composition scans.

We know the impact that results and achievement can have on your overall health as well as drive to continue to achieve more in your health and wellness journey if you see results. Our Evolt 360 body composition scanner can provide you with over 40 measures including body fat percentage, muscle mass, visceral fat mass, bio-age, and a bio-wellness index of overall health, in as little as 2 minutes by simply removing your shoes and socks. 

SCAN DETAILS

WHO CAN SCAN?

  • Anyone 18 years or older
  • Rappahannock Area YMCA Members
  • Individuals without implanted electronic medical devices such as pacemakers and deep brain stimulators
  • Individuals who are not pregnant.

BEST PRACTICES FOR SCANNING CONDITIONS

  • Scan at the same time of day.
  • Ensure you are rested and calm.
  • Preferably, do not scan after exercise.
  • Ensure you are well hydrated.
  • Keep your hydration and food volume the same.
  • Do not consume alcohol within 24-48 hours before your scan.
  • Preferably do not consume caffeine, pre-workouts, thermogenic (fat burners), or diuretics before scanning.
  • If you are female, take note of when you are in your hormonal cycle for consistency of readings.

Interested in trying the EVOLT before purchasing a scan? Throughout the year, the YMCA will host special EVOLT Experience Days, giving members the opportunity to try the scanner at no cost and learn more about their health and wellness.
