The Massad Family YMCA is hosting group interviews for summer day camp counselor positions!
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Day camp counselors provide direct supervision of a group of children in a seasonal day camp. Our counselors create positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents and caregivers and they support the potential of all youth in programs by facilitating peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall camp experience.

Healthy Kids Day 2023
Healthy Kids Day® is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. For over 30 years, YMCAs and their communities hosted free community events aimed to inspire kids and families to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months and beyond. Join us for events at each of our four Rappahannock Area YMCA branches.

Homeschool Fitness Run-A-Thon
2023 Homeschool Fitness YMCA Run-A-Thon!
Students in Homeschool Fitness will be running laps around cones in the field behind the YMCA to raise money for our annual field day and other equipment. We will be preparing for the event using local running coaches and experts. Students will seek pledges from family, friends and neighbors for their efforts. Pledges can be made per lap or simply a flat donation in recognition of participation. Laps will be capped at 60, which is a full 5K. Students completing the 5K will receive special recognition!
